The following note is directed at those who use batteries or products with built-in batteries and in the form delivered to it, not to resell (end-users).

1. Unpaid withdrawal of spent batteries

Batteries may not be disposed of with household waste. They are legally obliged to return used batteries, so a proper disposal can be ensured. You can give batteries to a municipal collection center or on site. We are also acting as a distributor of batteries to take back waste batteries obliged to give our take-back obligation on batteries of the type that we carry out as new batteries in our range or have performed. 2. Meaning of symbols Battery

Batteries are marked with the symbol of a crossed out wheelie bin. This symbol indicates that batteries may not be disposed in the household waste. For batteries containing more than 0.0005 percent mercury, more than 0.002 percent cadmium or more than 0.004 percent lead, is located under the bin symbol, the chemical name of the pollutant used in each case - where "Cd" for cadmium, "Pb "stands for lead, and" Hg "for mercury.



 

3. Starter batteries

When selling starter batteries, the following special conditions apply: The seller is gem. § 10 BattG obliged towards end-users to charge a deposit in the amount of EUR 7.50 including value added tax, if the end-user to the seller does not return a used starter battery at the time of purchase of the new starter battery. The customer receives when buying a starter battery a deposit voucher. In return the old starter battery at a place by the public-waste disposal collection point, the customer has to be confirmed by the management of the stamp and signature. The customer then has the option to return these confirmation stating the customer number for the refund of the deposit to the seller. Alternatively, the customer give his old starter battery together with the pawn ticket to refund the deposit directly with the seller. (Due to the hazardous material regulation is a shipment of the old battery to the seller is not permitted.)
